Madonna and Mariah Carey’s Successful Careers
There are many artists who have had success with their music but there’s only a small percentage that seem to maintain their careers for several years. Madonna and Mariah Carey are a couple of those few who seem to continue to have hit songs after being in the spotlight for such a long period of time.
Madonna kicked off her career in 1983 and has since released numerous hit songs including her most recent single, “4 Minutes.” Madonna has been ranked as the second top-selling female artist in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America and is known by many as the “Queen of Pop.”
Mariah Carey is well known for her powerful vocals. Carey made her recording debut in 1990 and has since had several chart-topping singles. A few songs that made the “Hot 100” include “We Belong Together”, “Shake It Off” and “Touch My Body.”
Who knows what the future holds for Madonna and Mariah Carey but these are a couple of artists that have and will continue to be well known by many.
